Strengthening Partnerships for Adolescent Health!
Earlier today, the Adolescent Health Centre (ADHEC), with support from AHF under the Youth Test to Treat (YTTT) Project, successfully hosted a District Stakeholders Consultative Meeting at Zanji Lodge in Ndola.
The meeting brought together representatives from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, National AIDS Council, CDF Committees, and school teachers to discuss collaborative efforts in addressing adolescent HIV and improving access to Youth-Friendly Health Services (YFHS).
Key sessions included presentations on SRHR, trends affecting adolescents such as social media influence, and the critical role schools, clinics, and communities play in preventing HIV among young people.
Together, we identified barriers, shared success stories, and developed clear action points to strengthen school-clinic-community linkages.
